You have got to be kidding me. I really want to throw up. This video - a public service announcement about drunk driving - lures the viewer in by giving the impression it's a woman having sex. It turns out, however, that something very different is going on. Check out the analysis at sparkle*matrix. I too immediately thought of that "America's Next Top Model" photo shoot. See also the section of "Gender Ads" that focuses on depictions of "sexy" dead women.
It's not often that I'm really shocked when it comes to sexism and woman-hating. Disgusted, yeah, every day, but not often shocked. This, however, I find really shocking.
